Things To Do In Chail & Mashobra

Amazing weather calls me outside, taking me along beautiful lanes and large mountains while increasing my desire for hot tea. This is my diary entry after landing in Chail in Himachal Pradesh, one of the most peaceful and beautiful hill stations I've ever visited. You have to book Budget hotels in Chail; many hotels are too costly. Chail has something I loved the most about it. It offers something for everyone: adventure travellers, close-knit families, and even couples looking for romance.

Although Shimla and Kufri are both within easy reach of Chail, I recommend you spend a few days here to really get to know the area. These are the top things to do in Chail hill station that I found irresistible.

Things to Do & Sightseeing in Chail

You can start your sightseeing in Chail by visiting the Chail Palace Hotel. I did this. This is a magnificent masterpiece with beautiful gardens, lovely views and valleys. I couldn't stop snapping pictures! The history of it all. You will be as amazed at the antique and traditional interiors, furniture, and decor that the Maharaja of Patiala had if you look at the décor of this now-heritage property.

The Cafe Palace is a wonderful open-air restaurant with beautiful views. Another place I enjoyed was the Chail Sanctuary. It is a wonderful spot for wildlife lovers. The School Play Ground was also beautiful and I was thrilled to discover its connection to cricket. It is the world's highest cricket ground and it is definitely worth the effort.

You might be looking for relaxation, and remember how great it feels to dip your legs in a pool. The Sadhupal Lake is a great option. After I had dipped my feet in the warm waters and felt its soothing effects, I couldn't resist returning to this beautiful place. The fresh-baked chicken momos were a favourite of mine. Kali Ka Tibba was a great place to indulge my spiritual side. The trek to the temple also helped me to gain a healthy appetite. Siddh Baba Ka Mandir and Gurudwara Sahib were both peaceful and calm.

Enjoy a date with the natural world

Chail is surrounded by nature and its beauty. You can enjoy beautiful nature walks throughout this charming hill station. For photographers, the Pine Forest is a must. You can easily book Hotels and Resorts in Chail online. You can find the Tibetan Wolf, Black Bear, and Leopard Cat in the Himalayan Natural Park just a short drive from Kufri.

Adventure lovers will also love Jhajja or Gaura, especially if they are passionate about trekking. The beautiful pine trees along the route will be a great attraction, as well as the fresh mountain air. You can also take lifetime photos at beautiful viewpoints.

Living life to the fullest in Mashobra

Moving on to Mashobra. I was initially clueless about what to do in Mashobra. However, some friends came to my aid and suggested the Reserve Forest Sanctuary. (You have to get permission to visit). It turned out to be an amazing excursion. If you are lucky, you might spot leopards, barking deer, and jackals among the mountain views. I loved the paths lined with oak, pine and apple trees, as well as the streams that were scattered around.

Craignano, or the Fruit Research Centre, is an amazing experience. I also enjoyed the Tattapani Sulphur Springs' healing and medicinal properties. You should definitely try the Craignano Trek and the Mashobra valley trek. You can walk through forests, and you will find a 400-year-old temple. Kufri is a great option if you want to ski. It's not far from Mashobra.

Tattapani is a great spot for fishing and rafting. Camping is possible in Mashobra's hills. Adventure junkies will enjoy paragliding in Mashobra Valley (the views and the thrill of quad biking) along Tattapani.
